We are excited to welcome Tara Pak, who joined UniHealth Foundation in October 2025 as a Program Manager. She comes to UniHealth from PATH, a statewide homeless services and housing agency, where she most recently served as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, Pak oversaw government, foundation, and corporate grants spanning San Diego to Santa Clara counties. During her tenure, PATH’s operating budget grew from $38 million to $150 million, increasing by 295% over nearly nine years.
UniHealth leadership partnered with recruiting firm Vista Search Partners to conduct a thorough search for this newly created position. Pak will collaborate with community-based organizations, hospitals, and clinics to spark innovation and partnership within UniHealth’s convening space. Located in our new Pasadena-based administrative office, this space will be available at no cost to local nonprofit organizations for health-centered events.
Pak will also help launch and manage the Healthy Neighbors Small Grants Program, a new fund supporting nonprofits based in Altadena and Pasadena, in addition to overseeing UniHealth’s communications efforts.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Journalism from the University of California, Irvine. Pak’s experience in community-based organizations, strategic partnerships, and organizational communications will be an asset to UniHealth’s unwavering commitment to uplifting our community’s health and wellness.
