UniHealth Foundation Commits $3 million in Relief for COVID-19

The Board and staff of UniHealth Foundation appreciate everything that our grantees and community partners are doing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We remain committed to being a responsive funder focused on increasing healthcare access to the underserved. We are proud to announce that we have committed $3 million in emergency response funding to the COVID-19 pandemic. These dollars will be distributed through pooled funds, primarily in collaboration with our philanthropic partners throughout Southern California.

We are thankful for the necessary work currently being accomplished by our community’s non-profit organizations, first responders, and various healthcare providers. We continue to be grateful, inspired, and humbled by the crucial work they are doing on the frontlines in these difficult times.

UniHealth Foundation remains committed to working closely with our partners.

  • We will work with grantees to understand their current challenges and adapt our grantmaking where it makes sense.
  • We will strategize both a short and long-term plan to support our community partners as they respond to this crisis.
  • We will learn and adapt from our grantees and reflect how we might apply these lessons to improve our work as a funder.
We wish everyone safety, health, and wellness during this difficult time.
